A 1985 graduate of the Academy for Theater and Film in Bucharest, class mentored by actor Dem Radulescu, she performed on stage in Botosani, before joining the State Jewish Theater of Bucharest, TES, in 1989. She took on parts in musicals and dramas alike, written by playwrights such as Carlo Goldoni, Bertolt Brecht, August Strindberg, Elie Wiesel, Lion Feuchtwanger, Ellen Kaplan, Jacob Gordin, M. Ghershensohn, Isaac Bashevis Singer, Brandon Thomas. Roxana's performances on stage were conducted by directors Harry Eliad, Moshe Yassur, Alexander Hausvater, Catalina Buzoianu, etc. At TES, Roxana performs in both Romanian and Yiddish.
