Storyline

Denver, Colorado, 1987. As the shocking news of The Smiths ' disbanding spreads like wildfire, four friends struggle to accept it's over. But some lights never go out. With the world refusing to listen, a heartbroken supporter and Morrissey 's number one fan plucks up the courage to do the unthinkable: armed with a loaded pistol, he takes over the local heavy-metal station and forces the DJ to play his favourite songs at gunpoint. After all, the sweet and tender hooligan only wants the radio presenter to play the songs that made him smile and cry--songs that saved his life.
