Plot Summary

• On Cybertron, the Autobot resistance, led by Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen), are on the verge of losing the civil war with the Decepticons and prepare to evacuate the planet. Optimus says that there are other Autobots scattered across the Galaxy, and he aims to reach them to have the Autobots survive. Optimus knows that he needs a place to hide and determines that Planet Earth is suitable for the same.A Decepticon force, led by Soundwave (Jon Bailey) (a Decepticon scientist) and Shockwave (Jon Bailey) (Decepticon communications officer, who houses his minion Ravage in his chest), intercept them during the evacuation, and Optimus sends Autobot scout B-127 to Earth on an escape pod in order to set up a base of operations where the Autobots can regroup. However, Decepticon seekers Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp destroy the launch pad during the escape. B-127's mission is to protect the planet from Decepticons till the Autobots can regroup. If the Decepticons find it, the Autobots would be finished.In 1987, B-127 (Dylan O'Brien) reaches Earth alone, crash-landing in California and disrupting a training exercise by Sector 7, a secret government agency that monitors extraterrestrial activity on Earth. Colonel Jack Burns (John Cena) (Agent of sector 7) presumes B-127 to be a hostile invader and attacks. B-127 scans a Willys MB jeep and flees to a nearby mine. B-127 is cut-off from the mine by Burns and his forces. B-127 tries to argue that he is not hostile.The Decepticon Blitzwing (David Sobolov) (a Decepticon who transforms into a red/white McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II) ambushes Burns and his forces. After disabling Burn's unit, Blitzwing goes after B-127. Blitzwing overwhelms B-127 with is firepower and wants to the know the location of the other Autobots. When B-127 refuses to reveal Optimus's whereabouts, Blitzwing tears out his voice box and damages his memory core. Despite this, B-127 kills Blitzwing with one of his own missiles. Before collapsing from his injuries, B-127 scans a nearby 1967 Volkswagen Beetle.Meanwhile, teenage girl Charlie Watson (Hailee Steinfeld) remains traumatized by the death of her father, and resentful of her mother Sally (Pamela Adlon) for dating Ronald (Stephen Schneider). Charlie had a lot of trophies that she won in driving championships, which she throws away due to her bitterness. Sally is a nurse. Charlie needs $500 to finish her Covette, which Sally does not have. Charlie does part time jobs to earn some extra cash but gets fired due to her temper.Charlie finds a yellow Volkswagen Beetle in a scrapyard belonging to Uncle Hank (Len Cariou) who is the junkyard owner. Charlie is an expert mechanic and likes to create new stuff out of scrap parts. Uncle Hank gives the Beetle to her as an 18th birthday present.Charlie unknowingly activates a homing signal (when she turns the Beetle's ignition key) that is detected by Decepticons Shatter (Angela Bassett) (a Decepticon triple-changer who transforms into a red Plymouth GTX and a Harrier Jump Jet) and Dropkick (Justin Theroux) (a Decepticon triple-changer who transforms into a blue AMC Javelin and a Bell AH-1 SuperCobra) as they interrogate and execute Autobot Cliffjumper (Andrew Morgado) on one of Saturn's moons.The two Decepticons head to Earth, acquire human-made vehicle forms, and encounter Sector 7; pretending to be peacekeepers, persuading Dr. Powell (John Ortiz) and Sector 7, despite Burns' misgivings, to help them find and capture B-127, whom they claim is a fugitive.Charlie drives the Beetle to home. While Charlie attempts to fix the Beetle, it transforms into the amnesiac B-127, whom she befriends and nicknames "Bumblebee" as he sounds like one without his voice-box. Charlie is initially terrified but sees that B-127 is more scared of her and seems lost. They unlock a message from Optimus urging Bumblebee to defend Earth in their absence, which restores some of his memories.Bumblebee is discovered by Charlie's neighbor Memo (Jorge Lendeborg Jr.), who agrees to protect their secret due to his feelings for Charlie. Left alone, Bumblebee accidentally destroys Charlie's home and causes an energy spike that attracts Sector 7's attention.When Sally blames Charlie for the destruction, Charlie angrily leaves with Bumblebee and Memo, only to be intercepted by Sector 7 and the Decepticons. Bumblebee is captured while Charlie and Memo are returned home. Charlie finally expresses her pain over her father's death and makes amends with her brother Otis (Jason Drucker), who helps Charlie follow Burns to the Sector 7 outpost where Bumblebee is being held.While torturing Bumblebee, Shatter and Dropkick accidentally activate a message from Optimus and learn that the Autobots are coming to Earth. Dropkick then kills Bumblebee and Dr. Powell, but not before the latter is able to alert Burns to the truth about the Decepticons. They leave him for dead after revealing their plan to bring the Decepticons to Earth.Charlie Electro-shocks Bumblebee back to life, restoring his memories. After fighting past Burns' obstruction and attempt to re-secure Bumblebee, Charlie and Bumblebee set out to prevent Shatter and Dropkick from contacting the Decepticons using a radio tower at a nearby harbor (Through which they are sending a message using Earth's satellites calling all Decepticons).Burns and his men also intervene, but their helicopter crashes only to be saved by Bumblebee. While Bumblebee rips Dropkick apart with a chain, Charlie deactivates the Decepticon beacon, causing an enraged Shatter to pursue her. Bumblebee destroys a dam wall, triggering a flood that crushes Shatter under the rubble. Burns, having a change of heart, allows Charlie and Bumblebee time to escape before the army arrives.Charlie and Bumblebee arrive on a cliff overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge, where Charlie, realizing that Bumblebee has a greater purpose on Earth, says goodbye, and returns to her family. Bumblebee scans a 1977 Chevrolet Camaro and drives away.Bumblebee reunites with Optimus Prime in a forest and has decided to use Bumblebee as his name instead of B-127. More Autobots start to arrive through Earth's atmosphere. Charlie finally finishes repairing a Corvette she and her father were working on and drives off into the sunset.

The Decepticons led by Shockwave, Soundwave and Starscream ambush them during the evacuation, and Optimus sends a young scout, B-127, to Earth in order to set up a base of operations where the Autobots can regroup. B-127 reaches Earth alone in 1987, crash-landing in California and disrupting a training exercise being conducted by Sector 7, a secret government agency that monitors extraterrestrial activity on Earth. Sector 7 agent Colonel Jack Burns presumes B-127 to be a hostile invader and attacks, driving B-127 into the forest, where he is then ambushed by the Decepticon Blitzwing. When B-127 refuses to reveal Optimus' whereabouts, Blitzwing spitefully tears out his voice-box and damages his memory core. B-127 manages to destroy Blitzwing before collapsing from his wounds. Before entering stasis, B-127 scans and transforms into a yellow 1967 Volkswagen Beetle. — Paramount Pictures After being defeated by the Decepticons in the war on Cybertron, the Autobot leader Optimus Prime sends B-127 to Earth to establish an outpost and protect Earth. B-127 surprises the training of a group of soldiers under the command of Colonel Jack Burns and escapes. However, he is ambushed by a Deception that damages his memory core and voice-box. But B-127 defeats the enemy and transforms into a yellow 1967 Volkswagen Beetle. In 1987, the eighteen-year-old Charlie Watson finds the Beetle in a junkyard and the owner Hank gives the car to her. The teenager is a great mechanic that misses her father and lives with her young brother and her estranged mother and her boyfriend. Charlie accidentally activates a signal and the Decepticons track down B-127 on Earth. Two Decepticons head for Earth to capture and destroy the Autobot convincing Dr. Powell and the army that they are peaceful and the enemy is a dangerous robot. Meanwhile, Charlie befriends B-127 and calls him Bumblebee. — Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil B-127, later known as Bumblebee, landed on earth after escaping the war between Autobots and Decepticons on his home planet Cybertron. But the Decepticons send two soldiers to hunt down and kill Bjmblebee. Together with Charlie, an 18 years old human girl, he tries to escape and fight the Decepticons as well as the human military, lead by Agents Burns, who thinks Bumblebee is an enemy Set in the past, a young female who is trying to figure out her life discovers and helps a warrior alien who is damaged. As he is recovering, two enemy aliens arrive to try to destroy the warrior alien and take full control of everyone on the planet. — RECB3
