Zbigniew Buczkowski is a Polish actor. He completed his education at the Mechanical-Electrical Technical School in Warsaw in 1970 and initially worked in his trained profession. Buczkowski made his acting debut in the film Dziewczyny do wziecia (1972), which inspired him to pursue an acting career. He is best known for his roles in Zlote runo (1998), Day of the Wacko (2002), and Barwy szczescia (2007). Throughout his career, he has been associated with various theaters, including Teatr Komedia in Warsaw.
In Warsaw, a pair of mermaid sisters are adopted into a cabaret. While one seeks love with humans the other hungers to dine on the human population of the city.
