Tarek Bishara

In 2020 Tarek played lead roles in Dir. Deborah Kampmeier's film TAPE opposite Isabelle Fuhrman, AMERICAN TERRORIST, scripted by Black List finalist, John Buffalo Mailer, as well as Susan Youssef's second feature, MARJOUN and the FLYING HEADSCARF.

Bishara co-starred in THE TALE opposite Laura Dern, Ellen Burstyn, and Common in the Sundance hit that premiered on HBO. THE TALE was nominated for the Emmy's, Golden Globes, Critics Choice and the Independent Spirit Awards. That same year Tarek voiced two characters in the Sony Pictures animated hit, THE EMOJI MOVIE.

Tarek was also part of an ensemble cast in Oren Moverman's drama, TIME OUT of MIND, opposite Richard Gere, Steve Buscemi, and Kyra Sedgwick, which won the Fibresci critics choice award at the Toronto International film festival and was distributed by IFC. The same year, Tarek shot a series recurring role on the ABC pilot, Dangerous Liaisons, written by Richard LaGravanese and directed Taylor Hackford, opposite Rufus Sewell and Katie Holmes.

On television, Tarek has guest starred and recurred on top-rated Emmy award-winning shows including CBS's, FBI, Bull, Madam Secretary, NBC's "Law and Order: SVU" and "Chicago Med" and Fox's "House M.D. and the series, "Susanna".

Bishara first gained notice in the Lions Gate sci-if thriller, The FINAL CUT, starring opposite Oscar winners' Robin Williams and Mira Sorvino, alongside Jim Caviezel.
