Steve Barnett is a veteran film production executive with Miramax and Arnold Kopelson, among others, and became a feature film producer with the comedy-drama, Full of It (2007), starring Ryan Pinkston, Kate Mara, and Teri Polo under Christian Charles’s direction. Barnett was producer of director/co-writer Ben Smallbone’s crime drama, Priceless (2016), followed by the teen musical, A Week Away (2021), and then director/co-writer Adam Anders’s Christmas musical, Journey to Bethlehem (2023), with Milo Manheim, Fiona Palomo and Antonio Banderas.
Barnett made his debut as director/writer/producer with the military drama, Valiant One (2025), starring Chase Stokes, Lana Condor, and Desmin Borges, and released wide by Briarcliff Entertainment. Barnett was co-writer/producer of the music drama, Something Here (date to be announced), with Tamala Jones, Savannah Lee Smith, and Ariel Martin under T.K. McKamy’s direction.
Steve Barnett was born and raised in the United States by his parents. Barnett attended and graduated from UCLA in 1992, earning a B.A. in Sociology.
