Solly McLeod grew up in Orkney before moving to London at the age of 10. From April 2021 onwards, McLeod filmed four projects back-to-back with only one day to rest between each. He was in the Sky television series, The Rising, and HBO's, House of the Dragon, the Indy film, Jericho Ridge and Outlander.
In 2023, Mcleod will be seen as the eponymous hero in Tom Jones (ITV and PBS), starring alongside Hannah Waddingham and Sophie Wilde. He is also co-starring in The Dead Don't Hurt, a western love story by Viggo Mortensen.
