Silvio Pollio

Silvio Pollio is a writer, producer and director of 3 feature films and resides in Vancouver, Canada. Guido Superstar - The Rise of Guido' a festival favorite and an action comedy about an Italian immigrant undercover as an FBI agent is Silvio's third film. His first film, a drama 'How It All Went Down' was critically acclaimed and won best picture at the 2003 Queens New York Film Festival. In his second feature film, 'Shut Up And Shoot!', Silvio worked with Joe Cortese, Gary Busey, Tom Sizemore and James Russo in this black comedy. The film won Best Picture at the 2007 New York Hip Hop Film Festival and was nominated for Best Picture and Best Director, the same year, at the California Independent Film Festival. The film's star, Joe Cortese, won for Best Actor.

Over the past 30 years, Silvo has also guest starred and appeared in multiple TV series and motion pictures as an actor.
