Rob LaBelle was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is an actor and producer who became known for his role as Crazy Eddie in the television series First Wave (1998-2001). He has appeared in dozens of movies and TV shows including Watchmen (2009), What's Love Got To Do With It (1993), The Man in the High Castle (2015), and So Help Me Todd (2022). He is also an accomplished television producer and was an executive producer on the Fox Telecolombia drama series Mental (2009) and the four season ABC crime thriller Motive (2013-2016) which is still airing all over the world. Rob also directed two episodes of First Wave (1998, 1999).

Rob grew up in Minneapolis with three older sisters. He has two sons, Angus and Gabriel LaBelle. Rob is a dual US & Canadian citizen. He lives in Vancouver with his partner, Gay Stephenson.
