Piotr Machalica

Piotr Machalica was a Polish actor and singer. He graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw in 1981. Machalica made his film debut in Rycerz (1980) and gained recognition for his roles in Zabij mnie glino (1988), and A Short Film About Love (1988). He was associated with Teatr Powszechny in Warsaw and served as the artistic director of Teatr Adama Mickiewicza in Czestochowa from 2006 to 2018. Throughout his career, Machalica was also a celebrated performer of sung poetry, interpreting works by artists like Bulat Okudzawa and Georges Brassens.
