Mike Ancas

Mike Ancas is an award winning American Director, Producer, Actor, Writer and Musician. A graduate of Duquesne University (BA Psychology), University of Pittsburgh (MSW and PhD/ABD in Counseling Psychology), he is best known for films he made with his wife, Brenda. These include Chasing Zombies: A George Romero Tribute (feature documentary), Tributaries (feature-length drama) and Chasing Giants (car racing documentary) are available on most streaming platforms, including Amazon Prime. Chasing Zombies is based on his experience on the set of George A. Romero's 1985 cult classic, Day Of The Dead, and follows the lives of fellow "zombies" who recount how working with Romero changed their lives. He resides in the Pittsburgh area, and is committed to supporting local filmmakers.
