Michael J Rogers

Michael is an award-winning Canadian actor with over 90 credits under his belt. He is well known for his portrayal of deeply layered mad man, Barry Nyle, in the critically acclaimed cult favorite, BEYOND THE BLACK RAINBOW. Beyond the Black Rainbow screened at the TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL, and Michael's outstanding performance landed him a VFCC award for Best Actor in a Canadian Film and a nomination for Best Supporting Actor from the New York Film Critics Poll.

Michael's most recent guest starring roles include SIREN, THE BLACKLIST, BLINDSPOT, SUPERGIRL, AGENT X, BATES MOTEL, THE 100 and SUPERNATURAL.

Aside from being a veteran to Television, Michael is becoming quite well known in the indie film circles, he received rave reviews from Glenn Kenny at The New York Times for his role in SOLLERS POINT. Additional film credits include: HOLLOW IN THE LAND, TWO FOR THE MONEY, WE'RE ALL GOING TO THE WORLDS FAIR and many more. Michael has frequently collaborated with director Neill Blomkamp, most recently in his feature, Demonic.
