Michael Bush

Michael started his acting career when he was hired to be in Ron Howard's film Far and Away as a land race cowboy. While on set he met Ron's dad Rance a fellow Kansan who inspired him to continue working in the film industry. Michael was already in chiropractic college when he participated in his first film, so he didn't quit the for sure thing for the maybe thing! Michael still gets a lot of laughs from the casting directors with that line. With his love of acting and history, most of his work has been period films. Westerns and the cowboy life are his passion! Michael is an expert horseman and any day on horse back is a great day. And he is asked to talk about films and historical topics a heck of a lot more than chiropractic! Michael still lives on the family farm with his wife Cathy. They've been married for 40 years.
