Lino DiSalvo

Lino DiSalvo is a director and producer with an extensive history in the animation industry.

DiSalvo is working on a feature based on an original pitch, JACK VS. THE APOCALYPSE which he spent the last two years developing as part of a Netflix Feature Animation development deal.

He spent almost 17 years at Walt Disney Feature Animation. There he served as Head of Animation on the Academy Award-winning film, FROZEN and received a VFX Society award, Best Animated Feature, for his work. He also worked as a supervising animator on projects like TANGLED and BOLT and made significant contributions to films such as MEET THE ROBINSONS, CHICKEN LITTLE, 102 DALMATIANS, and REIGN OF FIRE.

Post-Disney, DiSalvo served as Creative Director for Paramount Animation and later as the Head of Creative at ON Animation Studios in Paris.

Recently, DiSalvo directed and produced the Emmy-nominated Christmas special REINDEER IN HERE for CBS Studios and Paramount+.

In addition to JACK VS. THE APOCALYPSE, DiSalvo is currently drawing inspiration from his Italian cultural heritage and folklore as he continues to develop BADALISC for Paris-based Mediawan Kids and Family, exploring the magical realms of monsters, wizards, and spells.
