Lamara Strijdhaftig

Lamara Strijdhaftig was born in Hoorn, Netherlands. In 2012, she was part of the dance-theater company Don't Hit Mama and performed in various theaters such as Koningklijk Theater Carré and the Het Nieuwe DeLamar Theater. She graduated from the PACT College in Amsterdam as a professional all-around dancer in 2016 and was accepted at the renowned acting school Film Actors Academy Amsterdam (faaam) in 2019, where she studied Camera Acting.

Recently, she starred in Het Ligt Aan Mij, a powerful short film about femicide that premiered at the 2024 Dutch Film Festival. This year, she also had a major role in the feature film Expeditie Cupido, following her lead role in Bon Bini Holland 3 (2022), where she acted alongside Jandino Asporaat and Tygo Gernandt. Additionally, she won the 'Best Actress' award at the 48Hour Film Festival Rotterdam for her performance in Queen's Day.
