Kira was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. Her father is African-American and her mother is an immigrant from Ecuador. She can be seen in Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead's critically acclaimed sci-fi/horror film, "The Endless" on Netflix. Her performance as "Lizzy" has been highlighted and praised by many critics, including Matt Zoller Seitz at RogerEbert.
