Katherine McKalip

With a Major in Music and a minor in Drama from SJSU, Kathy later honed her craft in theater at The Western Stage for almost a decade, especially loving Frau Gabor in Spring's Awakening, and M'Lynn in Steel Magnolias. After moving to the Los Angeles area, she added movies and shows on Spike, TLC, Discovery, National Geographic, UP, A&E and Lifetime, while continuing live theater at places like International City Theater, Fullerton Civic Light Opera, Laguna Playhouse YT, Long Beach Rep, Underground Theater, and 2Cents Theater. Add in print and commercial work and training at South Coast Rep, Carolyne Barry Creative, Killian Workshops, and Meisner Technique under Fred Ponzlov. Proud member of SAG-AFTRA.
