Jen Tchiakpe was born in Paris. She is half Syrian, half Beninese. She is an actress, performer and photographer, with a background in dance. She has a BA in film studies and a BA in Physical Education. She speaks fluent French and English. She moved to New York in 2004 to finish her degree in Film Studies and pursue a full time program in acting at HB Studio.
