    Jean-Michel Le Gal is a classically trained, bilingual actor, accomplished in stage and screen work.

    He is a graduate of Stratford's Birmingham Conservatory for Classical Theatre Training, Studio 58 in Vancouver, and the Canadian Film Centre's Actors Conservatory.

    While at Stratford, he received rave reviews for his performances as Ferdinand in The Tempest, Silvius in As You Like It, Lorenzo in The Merchant of Venice, and Garry in Noises Off, for which he was awarded the prestigious John Hirsch Award.

    As a classical French actor, he has performed across Canada and at Montreal's renowned Théâtre du Nouveau Monde and Théâtre Français de Toronto, where he co-founded the drama school.

    On television, Jean-Michel has starred in the series Paris Paris, Frontier, Eaux Turbulantes, Condor, Max & Shred, Orphan Black, among many others. His film credits include Sarah Polley's Take This Waltz, French Exit, John A: Birth of a Nation, Foxfire, and What We Have.
