    Raise Hell: The Life & Times of Molly Ivins had its world premiere at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and was released by Magnolia Pictures. Opening in 1,000 theaters across the United States, it had an 18-week run nationwide from Alabama to Alaska. Winner of the Prism Award - Documentary What We Carry (Executive Producer, Director, Editor): An multi-media educational series dedicated to preserving Holocaust survivors' stories. Premiered at The Simon Wiesenthal Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles, it is in the permanent collection at Yad Vashem in Israel.

    Engel is a member of the International Documentary Association and Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. She was invited to be a creative advisor for Film Independent's Amplifier Fellowship and lectured at Film Independent's Documentary Story Lab.
