Jackson Yee (Yi Yangqianxi), is a multi-talented artist active in film, music, dance. He graduated from the Central Academy of Drama.

Yee began his career at a young age and has since garnered recognition for his work in various artistic disciplines. At age 12, Yee joined a boy band Tfboys; At age 16, he established his own studio to pursue independent projects, a move that proved highly successful. His street dance talent and charisma were highlighted in the variety show Street Dance of China (2018). His first physical album Liu Yanfen which steeped in cinematic texture, become China's highest-grossing physical solo album.

His breakout role in the historical drama series The Longest Day in Chang'an (2019) earned him critical acclaim and a Golden Eagle Award nomination at the age of sixteen. Yee's transition to film proved equally successful with his powerful debut film performance in the Oscar-nominated Better Days (2019), garnering him global recognition and a sweep of Best Newcomer awards in China and across Asia. Since then, Yee has become a leading figure in the Chinese film industry, starring in a string of record-breaking and critically acclaimed films such as A Little Red Flower (2020), The Battle at Lake Changjin (2021), Nice View (2022), and Full River Red (2023). His captivating performances have earned him Best Actor nominations at all major Chinese film awards, including the Hong Kong Film Awards, Golden Rooster Awards, China Huabiao Film Awards, and Hundred Flowers Awards.

Yee is a passionate advocate for cinema, supporting filmmakers. He has served as a jury member for the Asian New Talent Award at the 25th SIFF and was elected as a member of the China Film Association in 2024. He supports emerging talent and independent cinema through various avenues, including substantial contributions to the First International Film Festival since 2020, backing awards for indie documentaries, films, and new directors.

Beyond his on-screen work, Yee is a dedicated philanthropist. In 2017, he established the eponymous fund to support children lacking consistent parental care, with a recent focus on promoting aesthetic education for left-behind children. His philanthropic efforts include donations to organizations like the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation and contributions to disaster relief efforts.

Yee's influence extends beyond entertainment. He was appointed as China's first Olympic Friend in 2024, reflecting his global impact and commitment to positive social change. From attending the Grammy Awards to delivering speeches at WHO headquarters, presenting at the United Nations Youth Forum, and participating in the closing ceremony of the 18th Asian Games, Jackson Yee has solidified his position as a multi-faceted artist and influential figure on the global stage.
