Iuli Gerbase is a writer and director born in Brazil. Her debut feature film, The Pink Cloud, premiered at Sundance in 2021, in the World Dramatic Competition. The film made Variety's list of the 15 Best Films From The Sundance Film Festival and was called "A refined, accomplished debut" by them. That same year, the film made The Atlantic's 6 Best Indie Films From Sundance where it was called "A clever and surprising Brazilian movie that was among the best offerings at this year's Sundance Film Festival". Iuli graduated in Cinema and has a Master's degree in Creative Writing.
