    Ioachim Ciobanu was born in Bucharest, Romania to silver screen legend Ilarion Ciobanu and Marion Ciobanu, a respected documentary screenwriter. Ioachim grew up around film sets and started performing at a young age.

    After graduating high-school, he studied computer arts at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco, followed by a degree in film editing from UNATC, going on to direct a dozen short films and several commercials. Since moving fully into acting in 2013, Ioachim has studied with Ivana Chubbuck, making his professional acting debut in 2014.

    His career has since expanded to include over 20 roles in feature films and television series. He is fluent in English, with a native American accent.

    His recent roles include Epsilon in "Black Mirror" opposite Josh Hartnett and Rory Culkin, and Misha Varga in "Eric," with Benedict Cumberbatch.

    Ioachim successfully manages to portray both terrifying and endearing people on film.
