Harry Styles (birthname: Harry Edward Styles), as both the co-founder of the mega-group One Direction and a superstar solo artist, is a brand name in the pop music world but is just getting going in the movies. Still, he has already begun to amass impressive and interesting credits. For example, soon after he launched his solo career, Styles was plucked by filmmaker Christopher Nolan for a lead role in his brilliant WW2 epic, Dunkirk (2017).

Born in Redditch, England, Harry Styles was raised by Desmond Styles and Anne Twist, who also had a daughter, Gemma. Styles’ family moved to the eastern Cheshire village of Holmes Chapel.
