Born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, in 1976, Berggoetz has developed a reputation for making entertaining films on small budgets. From comedies like "The Worst Movie EVER!" and "To Die is Hard" to horror films like "Evil Intent" and "Paralyzed with Fear," Berggoetz has gained a reputation as "the king of indie comedy" (Examiner), "the master of micro-budget filmmaking" ("Paste" magazine), and as "a uniquely compelling individual - there's no one else like him." Berggoetz has worked with such talents as horror film legend Kane Hodder, long-time TV personality Joe Bob Briggs, and stand-up comic Pete Buchbauer, all of whom have appeared in his films.
