Denise Nakano is an American journalist, with decades of experience as a television and radio broadcaster. Denise has been recognized with a national Edward R. Murrow Award for best documentary and with 8 national and regional Emmy Awards. She was born in Inglewood, California. She attended the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. Her broadcasting career has taken her to newsrooms in Sacramento and Chico, California; Syracuse, New York; Seattle, Washington and now Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
