Dean Shortland is an Actor, Director & Producer originally from Melbourne, Australia. He started acting in his teens in the Melbourne theatre community where he performed in various stage productions such as As You Like It and You're A Good Man Charlie Brown. Recent television work includes Dolly Parton's Heartstrings, Dynasty, Nashville, Fairwood and SIX. Recent film work includes Unsung Hero, Clone Cops, Surprised by Oxford, Chest, Best Laid Plans, The Violent Heart and The Vanished. Dean currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife and daughter.
