David Holt

David grew up in Lancashire in the north of England. He trained in theatre arts at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in the late 1980s, and then moved to London to pursue a career as an actor in TV, film, theatre, radio, and as a voice artist. He has appeared in countless productions of all types over a 35+ year career and is renowned for his character voice work.

David is one of the UK's foremost animation voice talents. He has worked on over 100 animated series and countless films for all the major studios in the UK and beyond.

His vocal versatility feeds seamlessly into the world of computer games where he has worked consistently on some of the genre's biggest titles.

Audio/radio drama has played a big part in David's professional life, and he has appeared in thousands of productions for the BBC, independent producers, and the world of Audible.
