Over his long career, he appeared at the Stratford Festival in memorable performances, had a continuing role in the much beloved television series Avonlea (1990), and won a Dora Mavor Moore (Canadian theatre) award for his performance in The Drawer Boy at Theatre Passe Muraille in 1999.
