Daniel Newman

Daniel Newman was born in Atlanta, Georgia and grew up in a small rural farm town outside the city. He briefly studied at Yale University before moving to Brooklyn, NY. In New York Daniel was a struggling musician for a while, travelling and gigging with his band around the city and around the east coast, before being scouted by legendary photographer Bruce Weber. This chance encounter led to Daniel modelling for almost all of the top designers including Calvin Klein, Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Tommy Hilfiger as well as appearing on the covers of and in editorials of numerous magazines worldwide. Daniel returned to NYC and enrolled in William Esper's acting school to study and work on his craft. Soon Daniel also began working on several television series and films, as well as writing several scripts. Currently, Daniel is producing a rock album with legendary producer Tony Shimkin. Daniel's band is called The Vanderbilts.
