Daniel (Dan) McDougall is a Canadian actor, writer and producer who has worked on productions including The Birds Who Fear Death, Joe Pickett, Jann, Fargo, Hell on Wheels, Brokeback Mountain, Lloyd the Conqueror, and Heartland, as well as considerable work on TV and radio commercials.
In 2017, he took on the roles of writer and producer. The result: "High Strung" - a comedic web-series following the misadventures of "Mick", a 50-something music teacher with an affinity for "herbal cigarettes".
Dan also was an associate producer and actor on February's Dog, which was a finalist for the 2022 Rosie Award (AMPIA) for best feature film.
Dan is also a professional musician and singer. His band, the Raynmen, is popular in clubs around the Calgary area, where Dan resides.
