Cotton Yancey is a Mississippi native and has been in the entertainment business since childhood. Cotton attended Ole Miss in the late sixties and early seventies and found success in the seventies, eighties and nineties in the music business as a recording artist for United Artist, Copa Records and Southpaw Records. He then used his talents in the Pro Rodeo Business (PRCA) as a Horseback Announcer from the late eighties to present. Cotton went back to college at the age of sixty five and got a degree in Film and Video Technology. Cotton has acquired numerous credits as a film actor in feature films since 2013.
