Brock Heasley

Brock Heasley is a Christian-based writer-director. After a decade as a graphic arts designer and graphics book writer, Heasley transitioned to film production, first as a set decorator (2015’s The Gallows), and then as editor-writer-director-producer of several short films.

Heasley served as associate producer of the supernatural thriller, The Gallows Act II (2019), with Ema Horvath, Chris Milligan, and Brittany Falardeau. Heasley made his feature debut as writer-director of the faith-based sci-fi drama, The Shift (2023), starring Kristoffer Polaha, Neal McDonough, Elizabeth Tabish, and Sean Astin, and budgeted at $6.4 million.

Personal life

Brock Heasley was born and raised in a family that belonged to the Church of Latter-Day Saints. Heasley served as a missionary for the Mormon Church from 1996 to 1998. Heasley then attended California State University, Fresno, from which he graduated with a B.A. degree in Graphic Design.
